Mario Kart 8 Deluxe receives content from Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Today, Nintendo revealed a big surprise: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will receive DLC from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. The best part? The content is free!

That’s right, thanks to the 1.6 update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which is available right now, players will find the Master Cycle Zero and the champion tunic that Link uses in Breath of the Wild. We must make it clear that the character and his vehicle were already in the game, it is only a new version that surely fans will appreciate.

This announcement comes a few days after Nintendo suggested that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would have new downloadable content. Last week, the game’s producer, Shinya Takahashi, said that “there will be future updates for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” and called the players to be on the lookout. This means that the game could receive new DLCs soon.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the 2nd best-selling game of Nintendo Switch, since it has 9.22 million copies, just behind Super Mario Odyssey, title that, until March 31, had 10.41 million units sold in all the world.

The thing does not end here, since Nintendo prepares Mario Kart Tour, a proposal for mobile devices that will arrive sometime in 2019. Taking into account that the franchise is the most popular, it is likely that the game will be a success when you see the light.
